No I wasn't assuming any inherent dumbness in blacks. What I'm saying is that the much of black media seems aimed at things that are marginally to definitely criminal, if not in reality, in appearance. Then when I go out in the world and see that many, many black mimic that media (clothing, speaking styles, etc.) it does seem that there is a correlation.

Whites also did the same sort of thing. Didn't we all have long, feathered hair in the 70's? Look at any yearbook.

Thing is, I don't recall Mick Jagger ever pulling a gun out and taking a shot at Paul McCartney. Unlike some rappers out there.

lupe got alot of play when he had "superstar" and "paris&tokyo". he just hasnt had anything out for a while although lupe and nas are like 1 in a million to get radio play. But, I do think rappers who talk about busting their ruger get too much attention.

No doubt. But culture stems from people, and people have genetic predispositions, so it's entirely possible that certain cultural traits fall along racial lines, same as some physical traits.

In the end, as long as you continue to try and beat modern day non-blacks over the head with the slavery thing, and the racism thing, you are going to alienate folks that otherwise might be your allies.

MLK said he wanted folks to be judged by their character, rather than their skin color. But what if problems run along color boundaries? Like it or not, profiling is human behavior. Not just by race, heck, even your credit rating is a type of profile. Don't like fat, skinny, blue eyed, brown eyed, some other trait in who you sleep with??? Well that's a profile too.

Well another PC statement often made is, "I wanted to move to somewhere safer". Generally means, "somewhere less black"... however that feeling seems to be backed up by facts.

Sooner or later there's going to have to be a few realizations made.

1) Some non-blacks will never want to be among blacks no matter what the objective data. Yes, it's because of their physical and cultural traits. But, a separate state solution is seen as OK for the middle east. Why not here? Hmmm... could it be that over there the jewish folks are on numerical parity but they aren't here? So clearly they want a separate state over there, where it can be enforced to their benefit, but not here where they aren't even numerically close. So they use the blacks to push thier agenda.

Anyway, trying to force people together, who don't want to be, as some libs insist on, is a prescription for more hate.

You can call it racism, prejudice, ignorance, whatever you want, but the numbers below bear out that "white flight" (really non-black flight) has at least some footing in reality.

2) Black culture, though entertaining to some, is part of the problem. What you'll tolerate at a concert or on TV is different from what you want next door.

3) Any time a black leader starts sounding like an MLK style preacher leader, that's going to alienate some segment of those who would otherwise be allies or indifferent. It's heard as, "Oh here we go, more of this afro-preacher ranting, again." Of merit, Obama studiously avoided this in his campaign, no?

I'm sure there's several other points to make if I were to sit here and think on it some. But bottom line is, if the dream of civil rights had occurred folks would say, "Hey let's move over there by Compton or Harlem, those blacks are so peaceful and thier neighbohoods are so nice, maybe not fancy and rich, bit they're nice".

Yeah, I've heard that alot, haven't you? LOL!

Here's some data for you to review, so much for character, right? Sadly, I think you'll find this same pattern *everywhere in the world*, including places that are overwhelmingly to 100% black.

The only person I've ever heard, in person, use "culture" as a euphemism for race was a black man in Tampa, telling me he preferred the "culture" of Dallas and Houston, that it was more "progressive".

Actually they may be superior. They show up and take over. Similar to killer... er... umm... Africanized Bees.

All they have to do is be introduced to an area, and eventually they take over. The Carribean comes to mind.

I suspect the same will happen on the mainland as well. Most of the major cities in the deep south and much of the northern states of civil war age have all become or are becoming majority black.

I find it interesting that the ones who make "policy" and control the money, are the ones who are so removed from the actual problems. They are so high up in the clouds, they don't even have a clue what it is like to have no hope at all that life could change. Even if you try to work hard, the hopelessness is absolutey entrenched in people who live in poverty.

It reminds me of the question that was asked of McCain when he was running for President, "How many houses do you own?" And he did not know the answer.

Every single one of those people making "policy" regarding youth violence should have to go sit in a classroom in inner city Chicago, to do the "youth violence meeting", not the Four Seasons Hotel. And to get to the school, you need to walk there, take the train, or a city bus. Then, you will have a start to understand where these kids are from, and what they are living.

And for break, the people don't get food brought to them, they have to go to the stores in the area, that is if they can find one. And guess what, most of them would rather not eat than walk in an inner city neighborhood.
