These are sports bars. They have multiple tvs, standard bar fare, buckhunter. The sound will be on to the Bears game. They are close to Soldier field.
Thus, the recommendation.

Ah, but not all sports bars are the same. There's the "Big Buck Hunter" class of sports bars, and then there's the "Golden Tee" class of sports bars. Junior's must be the former class.

Juniors doesnt even have a full NFL package. I went there early once for the Bears and they only had 2 or 3 games on and couldnt put on others. Also you have a fairly decent chance of being the only person in the bar. Nothing like rooting for the Bears by yourself

Eh. I'm assuming if you're going to tailgate at the Bears game, and you want to go to a bar near the stadium, its because you mainly want to see the Bears game.
But I'm kind of surprised to hear about the crowd. I saw a game there a couple of years ago and it was filled up. Maybe things changed once word got out I wasn't watching games there anymore.

At Cicero Ave. and Marquette Rd. you have the Midway Hotel Center. There are a wide variety of hotels, and you're right in a neighborhood where real Chicagoans live. It's perfect!

Oh sure, the nightlife down in that "real" part of Chicago (aka the suburb of Bedford Park) is just crackin'!

Stay near the Wrigleyville/Lincoln Park/Lakeview area that the above poster recommended. Start a new thread and ask particularly for a bar to go to in that area for Halloween night, and someone will have recommendations.

Technically the hotels may be in Bedford Park, but the residential areas around it are in Chicago!
If you want a real Chicago experience, come in February. You can trudge through a foot of snow in the 10 below cold and take the CTA down to da' Jewels for groceries. Now that's a vacation!
