Default Fishing

For those interested in this kind of thing-hub and two others went fishing in a boat off of 95th on Sunday. Caught almost 100 perch. Divided by 3. Couldn't believe how many they caught. Nothing like lake perch.
Go get yourself some while they last.

Ain't nothing tastier than lake perch, lightly breaded and pan fried. It's good to hear the lake is giving up numbers like that again. Twas a time when perch fishin' was done by hundreds and hundreds of folks off the piers and and harbor walls on warm summer days and nights.

Last time I saw Lake perch sold at the fishmongers, it was $10.99 lb.

Is it not only safe to eat maybe 3 fish a year out of the lake?

Zatarains makes a coating-spicy with a dusting of cornmeal, mmmmm.

They were awesome. Still have 4 bags of 10 fillets. I am thinking of sharing with the in-laws for Christmas Eve dinner.
