probably stuck with the hats, but if these folks frequent all these joyously carb-happy places they'll be forced to get bigger pants at least.

That's pretty sick and twisted, this is coming from someone who has a twisted sense of humor.

I saw this yesterday, that's pretty creepy. However isn't the 2900 block of N Ridgeway in Avondale?

The Logan Square neighborhood goes to Belmont. The "community area" goes to Diversey.

And since members on this forum like to use Chambers of Commerces as indicators of neighborhood boundaries-here is a link for the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce. They clearly have the area up to Belmont in their boundaries:

Even in the City's TIF "Milwaukee Corridor Plan" Logan Square is indicated going up to Belmont:

"The Fullerton-Milwaukee TIF encompasses portions of the major
commercial corridors in Logan Square: West Armitage Avenue from
North Ridgeway to North Milwaukee Avenue, West Fullerton
Avenue from North Kimball Avenue to North Mozart Street, West
Belmont Avenue from North Tripp Avenue to North Hamlin Avenue,
and Milwaukee Avenue from West Homer Street to West School Street."

Default City of Chicago government is a better authority on boundaries than Chamber of Commerce

No they don't, Avondale is listed as the neighborhood. It's written very clearly, Avondale, right under Belmont. Nevertheless, according to the City of Chicago, the boundaries of Logan Square neighborhood and community area only go up to Diversey, not Belmont.

Default Diversey is northern boundary for Logan Square

North of there you are in mostly Avondale. I have a buddy around 2850 N Springfield. He is definitely in Avondale, not Logan and will tell you this, even as a homeowner.

1)No. The city neighborhood map brings Logan Square to Belmont. Sorry.

PDF:

2)That is because the Logan Square COC used the Google map and put their businesses' locations over it. The map is listing community areas mostly-not neighborhoods.
