Default Help with CTA/Pace bus system

I need to buy a month bus pass for my daughter in Oak Park. I want to know 1)can you use a Pace bus pass for CTA busses and do Pace busses run from Oak Park to Lombard? Also is there a web cite I can go to for the bus? Thanks

the best way from Oak Park to Lombard is to take the Metra Union Pacific West train. See Metra - Welcome to Metra

I'm not sure if Pace passes work on CTA buses, but any CTA pass does work on Pace, so that's probably the better way to go. There is also a monthly Pace/CTA pass that allows unlimited rides on both for 30 days. The Pace website is Pace Bus - A Fresh Approach to Public Transportation. Another helpful website is Plan Your Trip With the RTA! - put in your starting address and the address of your destination, and it will tell you which buses to take and how much it will cost.
