My major complaints about the area is many the surrounding properties can be a bit on the "dumpy" side, and it's a long commute time-wise to downtown via public transportation. Other than that, nothing really bad to say about the area. You're a short bus ride down Clark Street to the Andersonville dining/shopping/pub district, one of the nicest in the city. And you're about two blocks from one of my favorite "greasy spoon" restaurants, The Diner on Devon/Clark. Owned and run by the same folks who run the Leona's chain. Yummy.
