I used to love watching that when I was in my 20's. It was on Saturday afternoons from 1:30-2:30. They it moved to Saturday night/Sunday morning at 3am or so in the mid 90's. I would still catch it if I was back from wherever I had been that night. I tried to watch it about a year ago, and was meh. I didn't know who the guest band was, nor did I know any of the songs they played the videos for. I guess I just got old.

And that's the amazing part. He adapts pretty well to changes in taste, and industry structure. I feel old sometimes watching it.

A Chicago institution...at least as far as basic cable goes, and did more for local music than the local radio stations did.

Who was that car dealer with the HORRIBLE singing voice that sang "Rock-A-Bye your baby" on his commercials? I would cringe whenever that commercial came on when I was a kid.
