Universalism
Must *every* thread on this forum degenerate into a Universalism discussion?

No, but everyone must have a clear path for this life into eternity shown to them by the Spirit. Mine is death to self and being filled with Him - becoming part of the first-fruits company (sons) that will show Him to the world (universal).
Every post I make is related to my path in Christ, as it should be for everyone.

So what are we living for? To warn everyone before the elevator ride?
That's not the plan of God, if you have the word opened up to you.

if people teach horrible heresy that malign the name of God those who believe otherwise mustn't stay silence
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. These things command and teach. (1Tim. 4:10)
Ialready had left the forum and didn't intend to contribute further to this forum but when I saw that people started to promote the evil heresy and blasphemy of everlasting torment in large scale I felt responsible to share the knowledge I gained and oppose this teaching
where is the problem? the truth will prevail, let everyone present his point of view in a scholarly manner and let everyone judge for himself who speaks the truth or at least has the better and more scriptural arguments

That's because City-Data is not just a "Christian forum" only ! This is a sub-forum created separately from the "Religion and Philosophy" forum.
City-Data is an open forum to all public opinions long as they post according to the TOS !
Where as "Christian Forums" are based on Christian material only and matter fact I believe Universalism is banned from many Christian Forum's !!!
Well as you can see by the replies, we do live in "it's all about Me" world..... lol

I could start another thread, but I'm curious how many would answer this question.

may it be due to fear? the truth will prevail for itself and those defending the truth can tolerate other opinions
every thread on universalism is likewise a chance to prove the doctrine of everlasting torment if it were true; as every thread on everlasting torment is a chance to prove the contrary
only those who fear the truth have to forbid other point of views
I appreciate it that both adherents of everlasting torment und universalism can post here, everybody is allowed to post his facts and every reader may judge for himself
