There is no place where God is absent and since God is something, then there is no such thing as nothingness.

I have no argument that everything that exists in space was created by God, Finn. I just disagree that space is nothing. Everything IN space moves within space. So how can it be nothing? things take up and fill space. There is oxygen in earth's space. This is getting into quantum physics and I barely understand biology and chemistry. But I don't believe that God was wandering around in 'empty space' 'before' He created the universe. Time is a created 'thing' and I can't conceive of being outside of time. I don't understand how one can make 'time' but God did, and it has properties, can work slower at different distances from the sun(?), etc.

You will have to ask God about these things. But stand in line. It will take millenia for him to explain the simplest things to me....I suspect that He will designate smarter humans to prep me on the 'simpler' stuff for the first millenia.

Absent from where? From empty space? You said empty space did not exist?

Oxygen, earth, light and heat and everything that exists was created by God.

This is not all that important, you know, more of a technicality. I was only continuing on my point about darkness being merely absence of light and evil being absence of God. When you pull out light, darkness fills the void, and when you reject God, evil fills the void.

What void? Is God omnipresent? or not? hmmmm, lol

Have a good day Finn, peace and grace be multiplied to you. May you bask in the warmth of His love. Some day we will no longer see through a glass darkly but it will all be illuminated. For me, I want to experience the knowledge a bit at a time, I'm not for having all the answers immediately, even though I'm not really the patient sort.

"Empty space" in outer space is not really empty. Just do a google search on it, there are lots of theories. Physicists believe it contains dark energy, dark matter, and other sub-atomic particles, some we may not be aware of, and some that seem to appear and disappear. Conclusion: we don't really know what empty space is, but it is far from empty. So in that sense, even "empty" space would have to be created.

Yes, he is omnipresent. I never said anything about omnipresence or lack thereof. He is present even in the nothingness of empty space. I am talking about things he created, not God himself.

This is exactly the point of Isaiah 45. The anti-thesis is already there as an opposing force. These are bound by the laws and natures of creation.

No, just the things in the empty space it would have to be created. God created partricles, matter and anti-matter for a reason, so maybe He created them to support creation of other things, just like water was created to support life on earth.

I did not say God was absent from anywhere.
