I'm going to assume that you have no response to my last post on The Restoration of All Things thread because you cannot scripturally refute it. You ALWAYS respond with a long cut-and-paste or repeat of your pevious posts.

I'll be waiting.

God is love. But God is also holy. God's holiness condemns those who reject Christ as Savior. Gods love will not prevent Him from carrying out the demands of His holiness. What the righteousness of God approves of, divine justice blesses. What the righteousness of God disapproves of, divine justice must discipline (believer), or curse (unbeliever). For the unbeliever, that means eternal torment in the lake of fire.

I will get to you when and if I get around to it. Your post is off topic on that thread anyway.

You are correct Mike! Some people just want to preach God is love (and yes He is love) and He is a just and fair God, and He is not going to let people who reject Him enter into His presence, that would go against His character and nature.

Hmmmmm.......

I thought your thread was called "The Restoration of All Things."

My post was talking about the fallen angels being RESTORED. So......

I already know you don't scripturally have an answer, so don't worry about it.

To the contrary.

ILNC
Please read this passage of scripture then read what you posted again

52And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
53And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
54And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
55But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

His mission is not to destroy lives but save them .

ILNC do you not see what spirit you are off to stand in agreement with someone who is condemning men to eternal torment ?.

His character was shown on the cross, NOT in the Old Testament for the most part. He hung out with SINNERS. They were in his presence. As he hung on the cross with his killers standing around below him, mocking him, he said FATHER, FORGIVE them.

THAT is his character.

Much of this comes from a belief in a trinity (no offence to UR'ers who believe in it).

We have one part of the trinity that hates and destroys men at will because of their sin, we have Jesus the 2nd part of the trinity that is a complete contradiction to the 1st part of the trinity, and we have the Holy Ghost the 3rd part of the trinity which is a unknown entity to many of those who believe in the trinity.

When we begin to see Christ in the OT we will no longer have pre conceived ideas of God and a misconception of who He really is (see below)

The Son is the radiance of Godís glory and the exact representation of his being. Hebrews 1 : 3

Jame and John were rejected by the Samaritans and wanted to retaliate by calling down fire from Heaven on the people, but judgment belongs to God.
Yes His mission is to save lives, but not everyone is going to accept that. God is Holy and unholy things don't mix with a Holy God. Unbelievers will go to hell because they are incompatible with a Holy God.
Yes I agree with what Mike posts, his post line up with the Word of God.
