At some point we need to grow up and realize what's happening behind the scenes.
Agape = unselfish unconditional love towards another

To understand the OT it is necessary to realize that its purpose was to prepare and provide the expectation and then validation of The Christ's coming and message . . . NOT to perpetuate the erroneous primitive descriptions and understandings of God. Jesus provided the unambiguous and definitive example of God's TRUE NATURE. The NT is ALL about Jesus and His message and example of God's love.

What is the matter with you?
Christ FULIFLLED the law and the prophets, so I guess, by your POV, His fulfillment was primitive. How can you even say such nonsense?

Good -I pinpointed where you are. In a good (spiritual or otherwise) romance novel those the (noble) woo-er doesn't throw the non-responder into the dungeon. Forever.

Of course you may respond that he only woos the elect and they respond so all is well.

Too bad for the billions of non-elect.

So the romance novel is turned into a horror novel (in traditional Christianity).

It's all good (the romance thing) you just need to take the next logical step.

AISI (of course).

He fulfilled the prophesies and they provide the validation for His status as Son of God. He did NOT endorse the primitive descriptions and misunderstandings of the nature of God. He specifically came to correct them and provide an unambiguous example of God's love . . . at the cost of His own suffering and life. To retain those horrid primitive beliefs about God is blasphemy and belies your claims to "believe on" Jesus Christ.
