Welcome Sandra!! I think you found the perfect thread to start out posting on C-D. I'd just like to say hello to my wonderful C-D brothers and sisters and friends who frequent this forum. It's a nice sunny hot day here in SC and I think I'll get out and enjoy it a little bit. I'd like to stay and chat but the outside is calling me today!!

Hi Sandra, welcome to the forum, please feel free (or not) to introduce yourself to us

Sometimes we argue, sometimes we get a bit mad, but one thing for sure is that we all stand shoulder to shoulder across the three forums here if one of us is in need of comfort or a little humor to make our day better..

Katzpur's First Ever Skydive!

This video was taken on a recent vacation to Hawaii. (I apologize for the quality. The actual DVD I got was excellent quality, but the YouTube version isn't all that great. It's 7 minutes long.) I'd always wanted to go skydiving but took forever to get up the courage to actually do it. We jumped from 14,000 feet, free-fell 9,000 feet. That's 175 feet per second for 50 seconds. The chute opened at 5,000 feet. I've got to say, it was one of the highlights of my life! Plus, I crossed off the only item I had on my bucket list. (I guess that means I can check out any time. )

Uh, Katz, sweetie? Something is telling June that anyone that can jump out of a plane like that (and live to tell, let alone video tape it!) ain't about to "check out" any time soon! No way, my dear, no way!

P.S. And after all that, your hair still looked fabulous! How the hell'd ya pull that one off!?

Wow!
