My father was not known for his tact! We still loved him anyway - it was part of his "charm."

In that case, SisterKat, here's the modified version he could sing:

Well the wife in my life is kinda laid back
Aint much of a country boy that she can't attract
Its early to rise, early in the sack
Thank God I'm a married boy

Well a simple kinda life never did me any harm
I'll be raisin' me a family and workin on my charm
My days are all filled with an easy country wife
Thank God Im a married boy

Well I got me a wife and I got me a ring
When the suns comin' up I got songs I've got to sing
Life aint nothin but a funy funny thing
Thank God Im a married boy

When the works all done and the suns settin' low
I call on my wife who now you do all know
The lake is always calm it is something we should show
Thank God Im a married boy

I'll love SisterKat in the way I know I should
And the Lord and my wife will make it very good
So I fiddle when I can, and I'll love her best I could
Thank God I'm a married boy

Well I got me a fine wife I got me a SisterKat
When the suns comin up it just ain't better than that
Life aint nothin but a great state of marriage
Thank God Im a married boy

Well I wouldnt trade my wife for diamonds or for jewels
I never was one of them single bachelor fools
I'd rather have my wife with all the wedding rules
Thank God Im a married boy

Well folks at the wedding now you all have a seen
You people at the weddig now know I am keen
So, let me tell ya now exactly what I mean
Thank God Im a married boy

Well I got me a fine wife I got me a fiddle
When the suns comin up I can see her tiny middle
Life aint nothin but a funny funny riddle
Thank God Im a married boy

Well, SisterKat was my love and to me she said yes
And she took me by the hand and held me like the best
Said, Live a good life and fill me with such pride
And thank God you'll be my married boy

My wife taught me young how to love and how to cook
Taught me how to work and it's her I had to hook
Taught me how to love and how to give just a little
Thank God Im a married boy

Well I got me a fine wife I got my wedding fest
When the suns comin up I know I've got the best
For me there aint like a life that isn't filled with love
Thank God Im a married boy

Let it suffice to say, however, that of all the 365 days of the year that June could have chosen from, she picked "June 7th" as it's a very signifcant date for her, and one that she'll forever and always remember in her "just June" heart.

Besides, June's The June, so what else would have worked as well?
i'am glad that we have our answer about what your screen name means June7th, but now i miss all the intrigue of guessing what it could have possibly meant...i've concluded you just can't satisfy all of the people all of the time.

have great day June7th & Miss Blue

June..... you have really outdone yourself here. Did you get another dump of snow and have so much time on your hands that you are now not only a therapist but a music composer

I was thinking that you copied and pasted this until I saw the rhyme:
Well I got me a fine wife I got me a SisterKat
When the suns comin up it just ain't better than that

That is awesome and you know.... my dream was to get married at the dock at the lake but too hard for the hubbies elderly parents to travel there so perhaps I shall surprise my hubby when we are at the lake this Summer and have my rock star sing a country song for us and take my hubby by surprise

Seriously, I think it would be a blast..... thanks so much June !

i think there was a rebuttal song done about tall people...all of this i blame for the down-fall of the disco era...shame.
thank you john travolta for all that you gave...you were the king i tell you and nobody can take that away.
Yeah gabfest...That was "Short People" by Randy Newman. It was a satire on prejudice. Really funny.

My 2nd wife was a 6' 1/2" statuesque Polish girl. She loved high heels so that added 4 or 5 inches, then with 3 or 4 inches of hair, she ended up walking around about a foot taller than her Italian (and look it) husband.
Obviously, the height difference didn't bother us...but whenever we were in the car and that song would come on the radio, she would turn it up, pat me on the head in time to the music, and giggle.
Payback for all the "blonde jokes". LOL.

Default "Atheist Mantra Of The Day:"

An atheist "god bless" goes out to that nice AAA man who managed to get June's car out of her ice-covered driveway! After June spent an hour trying to get it out herself, she finally threw in the towel and phoned AAA. When that AAA guy showed up, June felt like kissing him for getting that car off what was a sheer icy driveway!

June loves you, AAA man!

(But she hates winter and snow storms!)

I have had some little time for CD this past week. My son's last week home and we have had so much on our agenda.

He is singing this morning at worship and I know the tears are a going to be a flowing for me... he is leaving in the early morning on a jet plane - 2nd stage of his band tour. I wish I was strong enough not to cry in front of him and I know I will be fine as soon as I say my goodbye's at the airport - its the waiting to say that goodbye that is toughest. He's my 18 year old baby.

June, I remember you sent me a PM the last time he went away so I will go read that again

Thanks for letting me share my sadness today It's all good though
