Then I had to go in to work... and let me tell you that sledding before work is the best way to start a day!
June hears ya! The kids up here have had so many snow days that they love resorting to sledding. The rest of us are getting out our snow shoes in order to traverse the terrain!

Love to the Thirsties!

We are enjoying our heat wave here, as well! I took Cookie on a long walk yesterday and she practically ran the whole way! She was so excited to be outside in the sunshine! Today was a little bit gloomy but still in the low 40's! Of course, it's supposed to snow again tonight and tomorrow... But I can pretend like it isn't!

The hubby and I had our first trimester sonogram today! Yup - we are due in August! We are so excited but I'm really waiting for the constant nausea and fatigue to go away... I really miss liking food! I haven't posted on the Food Forum of C-D since I got pregnant!

Oh that's wonderful Dewdrop, I didn't know you were pregnant!! Woo Hoo!! Aren't those sonograms just so exciting? Is this your first? I never had nausea (I know, hate me) but the fatigue was awful so I can relate there. Don't worry, your appetite will be back within a month or so and it will be food, food, food from then on!

I figured I would wait to post it until we had our first trimester sonogram! I'm a little over 12 weeks and the baby is looking happy and healthy! I swear it waved to us today! It was so cute! I can't believe it has all it's little fingers and toes already.

I also probably haven't been posting as much because I'm just soooo tired! All the time!!! Our house is a MESS!!! I'm told I'll have energy again really soon - I have my fingers crossed!

To hell with the house being a wreck, it'll take care of itself! In the meantime, just hang in there, and know that the time WILL come when you can eat better, and have more energy. Promise, it'll happen.

Meanwhile, in terms of potential baby names, if the little waving at you happens to be a girl, I've heard the name "June" is an absolute lovely one, Momma Dew!

Love to the three of you!
