Miss Blue, I am not sure if you heard but I received a DM from Verna Perry letting me know she was ok and in good health...I am not sure if you would want to post that info in a readily visible spot for the relief of all those concerned for her well being...

Thank you,
Richard

June, just stopping by ever so briefly.....My 17 year old Shih Tzu, Misha, went to where ever little dogs go when their time has come to leave this world. I know he rests in the comfort that only the gentleness of true peacefulness can bring, all the while still retaining the unconditional knowledge and feeling of how dearly he was loved, which he most assuredly took with him as he made his exit from this life....

Rest gently, sweet little dog, with joy in your heart, in still feeling the love that was bestowed on your sweet presence, which brought such love and joy to me, in return.

You are dearly missed, little dog of my heart.....

Ohh, June, I am so sorry.

17 years is a long time. I hope you take comfort in knowing you made life better for him. He obviously thrived under your love and attention.

So sorry June. I know how much he meant to you. He will remain in your heart and mind and soon the grief will be replaced with sweet memories of him .

This is a picture of Misha. June wanted to put one in her post.

RIP Misha..

My condolences and thoughts go out to June. It is indeed hard to loose a friend of 17 years, sometimes it is many times harder when the friend has 4 feet.

Just keep in mind that the 17 years of joy, were worth the pain of today. May this temporary pain leave rapidly and be replaced with many fond memories.

Misha is adorable . . . a perfect boyfriend for my dear departed Dinky. I can see them carousing around by the rainbow bridge now. I agree with Miss Blue, June . . . the grief WILL be replaced by sweet memories. It just takes time.

11 years ago my mutt Rip died. His collar has grownninto the tree above his grave and I miss him at times. The things that happened during his life are pleasant memories, even the time when he chewed the burglar alarm wire and had my shop surrounded by police.

Our good friends remain important to us.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words,
