Thanks, Pleroo! Fortunately, the "loving couple" are looking at next spring or fall. That should give June sufficient time to lose weight (maybe 20 lbs? More?) in order to buy a dress! Just WHAT does "the mother of the groom" wear these days? I have no "dressy" clothes (we shrinks tend to down-play it as regards wardrobe....Just "professional" garb in June's closets!) so the thought of potentially spending hundreds on a dress I only wear one time sort of freaks me out....Then again, I AM the mother of the groom, so have to "look the part!"

All fashion-minded members please DM June! She'll pay for advice!

Wear something comfortable ...my daughters face was priceless.
Of course, I was sporting a custom-made, fruit of the loom, tie!

Those fashion briefs come in a variety of colors.

Now, keep in mind that she knows this practical-joker.
Thus, she had a custom pair of wranglers made just for me.

Two-pairs of pants, sewn together. And neither, had a zipper!

"Dad, you can always use your tie."

(No worries, Nate, it's wasn't anything like a down-swimsuit for the
Arctic-circle jacuzzi)

~~sigh~~I loved the Righteous Brothers. IMO the very best love songs were in the late 50's and the sixties.
