Ah... friendship is a worthy endeavor. But how shall I contribute?
I am not much for smile and platitudes but what I can do is challenge myself.
... and the challenge I set for myself is to think up some nice to say about others in the form of a complimentary adjectives for each of the names I recall seeing many times...

(not a great deal of though in these so don't ask me to explain but just the first word that comes to mind)

hljc is studious.
tonytonytony is challenging.
Jerwade is lyrical.
Pleroo is attentive.
MysticPHD is enthusiastic.
Hannibal is lighthearted.
nateswift is diligent.

... and that alas is all I got...
For those I did not remember enough please forgive the failing memory of an old man.

Welcome mitchellmckain. While friendship is something to work at, there really is no need but to report triumphs or concerns and react to those of others IMO. And us old men gotta do a little esercise of compassion as well as hope for it about our foibles.

Btw. my word for you in response would be "unconventional." Some of us consider that a good thing.

Good word, nate. I was thinking, "direct". Welcome to the thread, Mitchell.

Why must we debate about it?
Cherish your kids and enjoy those special moments before they are all grown up. They are precious gifts from God.
The Almighty GOD IS... and created me in his own image...therefore I AM!

Hi Robert.
