Everyone!! We just received a $25,000 Matching Donation offer, starting NOW!!
This match came from a family who has been fighting Sanfilippo Syndrome for 20 years. Their son Ben passed away from Sanfilippo in 2014, just a month shy of his 18th birthday 😢💔 The touching note below is from Ben's parents.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
From the Siedman's:
This is Ben. He was amazing. He loved cows and tractors. He had a story to tell. It began 22 years ago when he was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome. At the time there were 5 researchers worldwide studying the disorder. Benís parents, knew they could change that. Ben and his story inspired greatness by many.
Because of Ben there are now gene therapy clinical trials underway.
But time ran out. Four years ago, Benís story ended.
Today, Carter has a story to tell. He tells it for Ben, for all the children who need the science to do more. NOW Ben's Dream hopes to INSPIRE you to help write the next chapter.
Benís Dream is offering $25,000 to MATCH donations to #SavingCarter in the next 48 hrs.
Continue Benís story. CHANGE the ending to Carterís. DONATE. Now, today, again.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Letís honor Ben's Dream and reach this incredibly personal and selfless $25,000 Match Offer! With your help, in 48 hours we could raise $50,000 in honor of Benís Dream which would put us at just under $850,000. Please share, donate, and tell your friends $25,000 is being MATCHED NOW!!!

It appears they have met their goal, although I was hoping for more.
Please, let us know how things go for Carter and his family.

Thank you, I will. They had many celebrities give to them. They live in LA and take Carter to Disneyland a lot to make memories with him.

It's so heart breaking when they say he will go somewhere but then get confused about where he is and want to go back. Then when he is home he wants to go again and forgets what he did. It has to be very hard on parents seeing their child have the same symptoms of dementia when it's suppose to be an old age disease.

We never know what life has in store for us.

Whenever I look at the four of them, it's as if I should know them? Or, I have seen them somewhere before?

The family has been on different news shows trying to get people to donate to cure this disease. Trying to get the word out anyway they can.
