They most certainly are up here! Got another 8 inches last night. Thankfully, it was that "nice" kind of snow: light, fluffy, and powdery. Makes shoveling a piece of cake; less labor-intensive. It's also the kind of snow that skiers and snow boarders love! So no doubt the ski resorts in Massachusetts, NH, and VT are racking in a fortune right about now! --Although it'll be short lived, as temps are supposed to hit 55 by the weekend. Huh? We'll have days upon days of temps in the teens, and then *BAM!* A rise to 55??? Go figure. --But no complaints from June!

So given the fact that the forecast predicted that the snow would cease and desist around midnight, the ever-industrious June went out and shoveled the stuff last night, in order to awake to just 2 or 3 inches this morning. Yet sure enough, once again, those god forsaken snow plows came by overnight and deposited yet again another foot and a half of cast-off snow at the entrance to her driveway. Just looked out the bay window, and noticed that June's next door neighbor had swung by with his snow blower and eliminated the wall of ice and snow for her! Love that guy! Gotta go out today and get him a thank you card, and gift for his good will and kindness! He's a lifesaver!

We should all have such wonderful neighbors, imo!

What a wonderful Christmas at our house. Had my whole big family except for one son, and one daughter. Huge 2 day celebration of love, family and overeating It is always a very busy time for me but wouldn't have it any other way.

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and prayers that all your New Years are filled with health, happiness and family traditions

Default P.s.

And don't forget to behave yourselves on New Year's Eve! Ain't nuthin' like a huge, rabble-rousing New Year's Eve bash down there at Miss Blue's abode in Kentucky!

--And yes, I promise to spring for bail again this year, as well!

j/k, of course!!!
