I'm glad to know the meaning of your name. I can stop trying to pronounce it now!

It is, and that is is such a beautiful thing.

The sparrow may be plain looking, but I think it's song is one of the most cheerful, though I love to hear almost any bird chirp. It's hard to think end-of-the-world type thoughts when you are listening to a bird sing. I keep my window open every night, winter or summer, just for that reason. No matter what I've been dreaming (pretty horrible stuff, sometimes), the birds end up drowning out the darkness with their incessant chirping in the morning.
I cannot even explain how much I love birds. The birds drown out darkness for me, too.

It was easy to type and I wanted a new user name after using another on a different message board for years.

I've always loved the song "Shiny Happy People" hence the name ShinyHappyLucy. It fits my personality.

It's my email address (oh no, the secret is out) and I came up with it when I was 17 or 18. I wanted to have a name out of a children's series that I liked (the Serendipity books) but I couldn't find one that wasn't taken (I didn't think of adding numbers to the name to make it different until later). So, I just came up with Dewdrop because it sounded like it could have been the name of one of the characters! I added the 93 because my then boyfriend and I had started dating on September 3, 1993. Luckily, we are still best friends so the number doesn't upset me!

YouTube - Cypress Hill - Insane In The Brain (music video) best quality

And this from a guy who really doesn't care for rap but the song was playing on the day when I was looking for a new screen name.

This was an interesting and fun thread, so I thought I'd bring it up again for anyone who hasn't told us about their screen name!
