It's just that as a "straight" woman, your not going to find many men that want to court you when you dress like them.
A man wears jeans, T-shirt, and athletic shoes. A woman wears jeans, T-shirt, and athletic shoes. Is that men's or women's clothes? I'm a Christian woman who wears T-shirts appropriate for either sex; I prefer them to the more "ladylike" ones that are fitted and have low necklines. I also don't wear make up, never have. My husband loves me just fine. I also shovel manure, repair fences, dig the garden, mow the lawn, do household repairs, and take out the trash. It has never caused him to doubt my femininity.

Not all men are looking for a girly-girl, just like not all women are attracted to a macho-man.

Jesse, wear what you're comfortable in for the activities you do. Eventually you can meet a man who shares your interests and loves you yourself, not some dolly image. Don't let yourself be pressured into some image that isn't you, and DON'T let some man fall in love with an image of you that isn't real. You can't have a healthy relationship that way.

It sounds like you have felt some pressure from church-people to conform to some image. You haven't said if you are a Christian, but Christians are called to conform to Christ, not to the world.

I hope that you are paying attention to the many good responses on this topic.

I read the first few pages of this thread, then skipped. Here's what I saw:

OP: "Am I an abomination?"

Others:
"No."
"No."
"No!"
"No."
"No."
"No. But you could . . . " (followed by a kindly-offered suggestion)

OP: "See! I told you! This is what I mean!"
OP, you jumped on this one. What about all the others? Did you see them?

Am I an "Abomination" to you people?

Only if you rob trains or cheat on Sandra Bullock.
