It's getting much worse in this old world. It's one calamity right after another.

No it's not. It's the same thing happening year after year only with today's news you hear more of it at a faster pace.

On the other hand, if you look up, the sky is falling.

So, because we have the capabilities with "today's" news, and we "hear it much faster"'....that means they're not happening? Today? okay...

No, it is happening, it just has no significant relevance when it comes to living life as a believer.

Amen! Sometimes I wish I could think of another name to describe my beliefs, I get tired of having to say “I am a Christian but not the wacky kinda……â€

Ho hum! A NORMAL year in Mexico. An earthquake here and there and a few Tropical systems on each coast during the HURRICANE SEASON.

Yes, a typical thread over at this pre-trib rapture website I mentioned would be:

Quote:
A. It's getting much worse in this old world. It's one calamity right after another.

B. Yes, so many earthquakes in such a short space of time. I'm sure the rapture will happen this year.

C. So true, how could it not with all the trouble going on in the world. Wasn't this one of the signs Jesus spoke of?

A. He said there would be earthquakes in diverse places. That's happening right now.

B. The rapture is sure to happen this year, Rosh Hashana I think. Praise God we're going home in a few months,

D. I'm soooo excited I can hardly wait to have the wedding feast in heaven.

C. We're going home very very soon, friends. I had a dream last night where Jesus descended from the clouds and we all started to rise off the ground. It was so beautiful.

A. I've got my bags packed. And the sticker on the side reads, "Next stop, heaven. No layovers.

As I said, spiritual morphine. Dulls the pain of having to exist in the real world. I guess if I could get the effects of a good shot of horse without actually having to mainline it I might do it too. And they say there's no such thing as a "happy pill"!

Oh good grief, it is hurricane season, they occur every year.
Thousands of earthquakes occur ever year. This one was in a remote area, no damage, in an area known for earthquakes

Now I will admit that irrational paranoia seems to be on the rise.
