I have a caveat for you OP.
Don't read the Bible if you do not have the gift of the Holy Spirit as you might not fully understand it!

She wrote what she did in her first paragraph as a means of making a piont: That simply because one may not adhere to a certain belief system does not reduce them to such a level as what she infers is being portrayed in the OP. June believes that the overwhelming majority of members who come to this forum every day to read and post are, in fact, good people at heart. Animosity towards others that feels like a condescending judgement does not serve any purpose that June is aware of that bespeaks "God" let alone "Christ." So please, sometimes it is a good thing to calmly think before we point a finger or two...
If June --in any way-- has come across as having "pointed her finger" in anything that she has written in this post, her unconditional apology is offered. June is sincere in saying that. --But June is equally sincere in saying that the views we hold, and in turn, project outward onto the world can sometimes cause harm. Most of all to ourselves, and those around us.
