However, regardless of what people believe about your list, that doesn't affect the condition of their hearts toward God, does it? Without love, none of what we believe matters.

Amen! Without love, any list voiced for all to hear would be like the sound of the worlds tin can.Moderator cut: edit What we believe does indeed affect the condition of our hearts toward God. If one believes in The Doctrine of Eternal Torment, it will certainly have a profound effect on the condition of the battlefield of their mind...so will belief in The Doctrine of Universal Salvation. Every thing one believes does matter, for it affects the condition of ones love toward God. An unfortunate example of this fact was played out by Judas Iscariot.

God saves those who believe through the foolishness of preaching. God's foolishness is wiser than the wisdom of human science. 1 Corinthians 1. Though the science that God has given us is useful for bodily exercise, but it cannot perfect the spirit in suffering.

The Scripture is a guide and comfort only to those to whom God has given faith. Faith is given to those who have been convicted of sin and been given repentance unto life.

God's arm/discipline is salvation to those who remain in the faith and continue in the blessed hope.

We are justified and have peace with God through faith in his Son, Jesus, who he raised from the dead by the spirit of holiness.

We are saved by the chastening of the Father in his grace, for he chastens whom he loves.

No scripture can be proven without The words of Jesus Christ talking through his Holy Spirit because we are called to believe the text of the Bible for the calling of Holy Spirit to teach the Word to Jesus believers. If we reject the word of God, Holy Spirit cannot help us in our faith to bring life for HIS purpose ... See in Luke 3:21-23`` Jesus was thirty years old when he began his Ministries were he was baptised before he was lead away in to the wilderness to be tested to turn and reject the devil and his kingdoms of the world`` ... we can not prove that this History happened but we can to honor the purpose of the Lord in HIS Testament....... Jesus was not born of Dec 25 that is the Roman holiday were all Roman subjects celebrated during that day so the Christians of Rome celebrated the birth of Jesus incogneto will Romans celebrated their gods....... Jesus was crucified around friday because he remained on the Cross during the Hebrew Sabbath which broke the law of Moses and made a curse against the Law of Moses and and freed Chistians from the traditional laws to Holy Spirit life to the purpose Christians Sabbath became on Sunday instead of Saturday.... the death of Apostle John and Peter where Historial facts that were record from other books Not in the Word of the Bible..... Elijah assended into Heaven through a charriot of the Lord God in HIS history accounts, and Enoch was taken because the Lord liked him and does not say that he never experienced death..... Apostle John was his beloved disciple so was Peter and all the othe Disciple,,,, Peter was more like his best and Peters name will be first on the Foundation of the Gates of Heaven rest assurred............ Jesus ministries 3 and one half years was all he had People was trying to kill him and the Lord had to Clean that sin out and Finish the Work believe it or not , Jesus is not forcing people to believe the History of the Gospel Just believe in Acts 2 and be blessed.......

That is correct...but the point is for you to verify, based solely upon the plain text of scripture...what doctrine you know is true. For example, based solely upon the plain text of scripture, apart from any doctrinal traditions of men, you know that only a man whom Jesus raised from the dead could lend the greatest degree of credibility as a reliable eye-witness that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. Only Lazarus of Bethany would have understood the significance of Jesus' face cloth folded together in a place by itself. Only Lazarus of Bethany could have known how to read this unveiled message between resurrected friends, hidden in plain sight.
Another example is Peter..."Verily, verily, I say unto thee; when thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. (John) 21:18...according to the doctrinal traditions of men, this is to be interpreted to mean that Peter was crucified. Now, if any of you have ever been in a nursing home, or an alzheimer's care facility, you would no doubt be witness to more than a few proud men who in their storied lives were big and strong...now reduced to the mercy of some tiny young women dressing them in clothes they don't want to wear, and taking them to places they don't want to go. Peter died simply of old age. How pontifically inglorious right?
Anyway, the list we gave barely scratches the traditionally treasonous surface. The Blessings of The Eternal bring you joy...
