Betsy, don't group everyone who doesn't believe in a physical rapture in the atheistic category - God is spirit, and creation isn't waiting for a rapture - it's waiting on those who have been filled with Him (Rom 8:19).

He's coming, all right - but to His church, not for them.

Little Elmer, you know I know better than to group everyone in the same category..... No, who the shoe fits, they'll wear it! (and, will let me know the size, color, style I'm sure).

Betsy, do you hear voices in the night?

I mean, it's okay if you do; I'm just curious.

hmm ..can you write one called 'WE'RE GOING HOME SOON!!!', loosely based on small, regularly occurring events blown out of proportion.

of course this changes every week,so perhaps it would be better as a newsletter instead.

hmm ..what about one called 'The Road to Damascus'.This is about a cult who's leader decides the masses must destroy themselves,as cults sometimes do.But instead of the grape Kool-Aid,(or should I say Kool-Aide in that case) they decide the end is near and to 'play it God's way',and move to Damascus.
Well, nothing happens,40 yrs passes, and lots of wandering around in circles goes on.They eat lots of bread that falls from the sky, someone strikes a rock with a rod and water comes out of it..they get sick from eating too many birds and then decide to worship golden calves when they get bored, but that doesn't work out too well either..so they decide to build something very tall that will reach to the heavens, only one day they wake up and suddenly no one can understand each other. Then some old guy says there's going to be water falling from the sky soon, but they just laugh at him as they watch him build some sort of big boat and stuff animals into it.(real ones, not stuffed).
So finally they follow their leader to the Red Sea,only to find they are cornered in by mtns and there are ppl chasing them and trying to kill them.Their leader waves his rod over the ocean and it parts and they cross it,only to look behind and see their enemies in chariots and such get swallowed up by the sea as it closes behind them.
And after all this, the leader decides that maybe, just maybe...they should have stuck with the grape kool-aide instead.

Sounds like Jock and T Rex van Limp's nightmare version of "Exodus Redux". You're on the right track, SC. Keep up the good work.

Not loud audible voices, no. Just ONE that urges me to pray for the many hurting souls out there in this crazy world that we live. Yes, you too. Why?
