I am looking for a scripture for a co-worker. He is looking for a scripture to give to his father and his ex wife who have recently gotten married. I am unaware of any, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

I need a little more info. Do you mean a Scripture that says it is okay to re-marry an ex, or something else? [it depends on whether she remained 'single' after the divorce or married another man].

I think there is a verse, it's not coming to me at the moment. However, I will say this: the God of the Bible is a God of re-conciliation. It's His job description. Taking what has been separated and putting it back together again.

Sounds like a beautiful thing your co-worker is going through!

Blessings,
brian

You mean re-married to each other again?

He is looking for something about his father marrying his ex-wife, if there is any scriptures. Saying that it is wrong. Not to much more information was given to me, about the situation.

Is the father marrying his ex-daughter in law??

1 Corinthians 5:1 talks about a man involved with his father's wife but I am unsure of any scriptures for your co-worker's specific situation.

Ah, well in the OT it was unlawful for a man to remarry his wife if she had married another man.

However, I don't think it's the son's place to say anything to his father.

It sounds like the father married his sons ex-wife. That would be difficult to accept.
