It really doesn't matter whether or not you accept Jesus in the end. We'll all be in the same place. Accepting Jesus just makes the process a bit easier. You just avoid a few 100 or 1000 years of refining by fire. And really what's a 1000 years in the light of eternity? Just a flash.

Seems like it really doesn't matter if you trust Jesus per the UR folk. Jesus just makes the process of being with God a bit easier. Not necesary, just easier.

Dang. I think I'll quit church, Jesus and God and live asccording to the flesh. No point in trusting in Jesus. I'll see y'all in Heaven.

Don't need Jesus or nothin'. I am saved regardless!

What can wash away my sin?

  1. Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
    What can make me whole again?

    Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
    • Refrain:

    • Oh! precious is the flow
      That makes me white as snow;
      No other fount I know,
      Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
  2. For my pardon, this I see,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
    For my cleansing this my plea,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
  3. Nothing can for sin atone,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
    Naught of good that I have done,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
  4. This is all my hope and peace,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
    This is all my righteousness,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
  5. Now by this I’ll overcome—
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
    Now by this I’ll reach my home—
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
  6. Glory! Glory! This I sing—
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
    All my praise for this I bring—
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Not to worry......I am just making a point.
Yep...you got it...only you will burn for just an age and an age...or so...nothing big...

God Bless!
Mercy

I agree. Telling people that they don't need to accept Christ in this life to be reconciled to God is a dangerous thing.

Hell, hell, hell.........there I said it. Now can we get back to the OP? The lack of understanding of Universalism is so overwhelming in the OP. You must take the time to understand Universalism before you go haphazardly trying to fight against it. The OP has said in other posts and threads that he understands it but it is obvious he does not!! Puleeeze learn something about it without the blinders of ET.

Indeed. What do the URs have against people accepting Christ? I don't get it.

I don't get your question because no URs I know have anything against people accepting Christ. In fact, that is how all will be saved.

Every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that Jesus is their Lord and Savior - to the glory of the Father.

You know full well what I am talking about, so don't pretend you don't understand. You believe people will be forced to accept Christ AFTER THEIR DEATHS.

There is such a thing as positive force, the depiction that this force is murderous and wrong simply comes from the minds of those who object that God is truly in control through the force of LOVE.

And exactly how does this mean that they oppose these same people accepting Christ while they are alive?That is what you have accused UR of.
