That's pretty harsh and actually kind of ridiculous to say when speaking of God and His plan for ALL. Shakespeare has nothing to do with the fact that ALL will be reconciled to God and you're implying that unbelievers are just puppets and trash to be thrown away when all is said and done. What a sad outlook and THANK GOD it's not true.

Just read the op and the first few lines:

Quote:
The other main error of UR is.........
Quote:
1. The misuse \ application of the word "all" in 1 Timothy 2:4 (and other such passages)
2. Denial of God's will in subjective verses John 3:36, Romans 12:19 (and other such passages)
3. Minimizes \ denies the ramifications of false religions \ refusing to believe the truth on earth as it relates to life beyond death 2 Thessalonians 2:10 (and other such passages)
4. It supercedes God's will to have Jesus' authority be the final say as to damning unbelievers and announce who are the blessed Matthew 25:34, 40-42 (and other such passages)
5. Rejects the urgency of the call to come to faith ... "now is the time" John 4:23 John 5:25, 2 Corinthians 6:2
Bible passages references:
1 Timothy 2:4

and i had this in the back of my mind brought to the front:

i assume we can agree that Paul was an intelligent man in his time, i mean he was well educated, with that in mind i did a word search of Dr. Strongs' definitions.
In 1 tim2:4 the word "all" was translated from the word "pas", and pas is defined as: individually: each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything.
Collectively: some of all type

In 1Tim 1:3 Paul used the word "tis" and this word according to Dr. Strong is defined: a certain a certain one
some, sometime, a while

to me if Paul had meant only some are to be saved he would haved used the word "tis" in 1 Tim 2:4...........he was well aware of the differences in the words

If this is the attitude in Calvinism (I'm assuming you are Calvinist with that thar attitude) I can see why the lost don't feel that God loves them. There are many watching and waiting in the middle of a cold and dark world to see if there really is any good news out there, and they run into this crud.

How BEAUTIFUL are the feet.......
Well, it is better than your patchwork theology...

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
