Hi all!
I suppose that years ago, if anyone could've told Christians that we'd have wireless technology, Internet, blogs, etc, etc.. they would've said that it was "of the devil."

How do you see technology? Is science so "against God?" After all, we can encourage each other to grow in the Lord without even having to meet in one place! And all over the globe!!

Curious to hear opinions..

Blessings to all,
brian

I believe faith in God is being squeezed out, as more and more of life is explained away by science. We don't have to contend with life in the same way as our spiritual ancestors, and we're collectively much softer, imo.

Air conditioning?

You can use a stone to do something useful, or murder someone with it, technology has no inherant evil content.

Are talkng about 500 years ago or 50 years ago?

500 years ago talking boxes would be considered sorcery. And rightly so.

If you're talking 50 years ago, I don't see anyone saying communication technology was of the devil.

Now dancing in pool halls........that is surely of the devil.

I see it as a product of man's intelligence, which was a gift of God when He created us. However, the more technology advances, the more animal-like, and debased, our morals become....sort of an inverse proportion scenario.

The higher and the more we achieve technologically, the less we think we need God.

Our society has become more technologically advanced, but so terribly corrupt, in the past 30 years or so......one goes up, the other goes down.

That's disturbing....

They would have said "it's of the devil"?? Either they said it or they didn't. Well, did they? What's up with the constant attempts to smear Christians? No, they did not say it is of he devil. On they contrary they use technology to spread the Gospel.
