Wow, I stand corrected. Didn't think anyone would actually say they will rejoice in other's suffering. Wow again.

Yes. Rejoicing as people are tormented; that's the "love" of God at work.

Fundamentalism approaches a spiritual book with a literal, carnal interpretation. That's why it seems so contradictory.

Peace,

The lack of spiritual maturity and development in the human species is very depressing! Only the long-suffering patience of God could possibly endure it without extreme frustration.

Wow sciotamicks, now this all makes sense. All these debates where you try to say God only loves a few. This is the lens you see scripture through. You think you will be rejoicing with God over the endless torments of the lost. God tells us to love our enemies, but you think God torments His enemies forever, and you will be happy about it! Amazing. Please, think about what this means. This is some twisted stuff you are preaching. Its no wonder you fight against UR so zealously.

Question: doesn't God love His enemies? Won't the saints love their enemies?

Verna, I'm hoping you misunderstood what sciota said. Sciota thinks he will be rejoicing over the eternal torment of unbelieving mankind. IIRC you lean towards annihilation Verna?

Fire in the Bible

Yes... that is what we will be rejoicing about, when the carnal nature is finally dead and gone.
