A little further back, a young woman who attended Harvard and lived in the same women’s residence that I did joined the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal. One of my friends, whom I met while she was pursuing a degree at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, joined the Religious Sisters of Mercy two years ago. This July 25, two young men from Harvard joined the Eastern Province of the Dominicans."....

I particularly relish it when "the best and the brightest" are called and respond to that call. I know I shouldn't feel this way but I do. It's the Lord's reply to the heartbreak of Corruptio optima pessima.

Fr. Eutenauer, for example, finished at the top of his class at Parris Island before he discerned his vocation. (As you know if you have ever seen Fr. speak, however, once a Marine always a Marine).

The Best and the Brightest, Tony. You just never know. Someday you, too, may chuck in all that silliness and realise He Wants You, too.
