Wouldn't that make it a lot easier for lost souls to get saved?? At least it would cut down on deception and suffering!

Blessings to all!

Brian the scriptures tell us "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?"
Jeremiah 17 verse 9
A hard one to swallow for many of us , but it's the truth , no matter how wonderful we may think we are .

He is our righteousness and we stand complete in Him.

To take out the devil would also mean to take us out.

I'm beginning to see it this way too. We battle against the world, the flesh and the devil according to scripture. So did Christ battle the old Adam nature that is in all of our hearts? How is this different than battling the flesh? So this horned creature is a collective evil?

*** A side note- No one has ever seen the 'devil' in a NDE. They've seen dark places and demons but not one report of a red satan with a pitch fork. (for whats its worth) ***

.
The Question was:

Why doesn't God just get rid of the devil?

It's not Satan the Devils Time yet ... Not until the end of time.

Rv:20:10: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11: And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13: And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14: And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15: And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Because the salvation of the whole world is His goal, not just man.

Actually...they apparently have, or at least they say they have. I'm reading a book right now where the person who experienced the NDE had seen the devil. The book is "The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven". And no, he wasn't red, and he didn't have a pitchfork...

Resist the Devil and he will flee from you.

That is because the Devil is actually US.

People, just want to believe that Satan is something else (another entity), a closer observation of the scriptures will show that Satan is us. That is why Satan tens to the things man and not the other way around. Anytime we exhibit our carnal nature in disobedience, we are SATAN. If there is no man, there is no Satan. Satan, couldn't exit until man contemplated disobedience.

The question was.
'Why doesn't God just get rid of the devil?

It would give God one of our less desireable human qualities...."fickleness"
