I just wanted to "bump" this thread of mine again, it's worth repeating.

Paul tells us in Rom. 5, that wherever sin is abounding (and Christendom is quick to tell us how much it is indeed abounding...), GRACE is abounding even more!
So if sin has reached the ends of the world, we can be confident that Grace is abounding all throughout the galaxy!! The more sin pops up, the more grace to cover it all!

Now some will reply, "are you saying we can just keep on sinning so that grace will abound even more??"
Well, Paul answers that very question in the following chapter: "God forbid!" If we have known the Love and Grace and Life given us through Christ, why would you ever even want to go back??!?!?

So let's not be afraid to believe, folks. Grace is bigger than our sins. God's salvation isn't losing the battle, sin is!!

Yes, it's true that we don't see everyone walking in the Spirit and praising God as they should, but let's remember one thing: "the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation." (2 Pet. 3:15) God works in His own time, bringing every sheep in, one by one, until He has the whole flock back, losing none.

Jesus is indeed saving the entire world, friends! Let's PRAISE HIM for it!!

Blessings to all!
brian

The question is, was Paul asking when he had his "road to Damascus" experience? I don't think so ... I agree with what you wrote above, other than that God waits for us to ask him or seek him out. I believe it is the other way around, he seeks and finds us, he calls us, and when he does we can do naught but answer ...

Hi everyone!
A thought came to me today!

"If you live according to the flesh, ye shall die."

Paul: "I die daily."

We are covered by God's grace because of what Jesus did, just as we were covered by sin because of what Adam did.

There have only been 2 Adams in history: Adam and Christ (the last Adam).

We have born the fleshly nature, we shall also bear the heavenly nature.

To God be the glory!!

Blessings,
brian
