This song probably isn't for our Atheist friends out there

But to all of my fellow Christians...I think you will love this song/video! I heard it in church today and thought it was pretty awesome, so I wanted to share it with my friends here

I figured there would be people that would disagree, and that's fine. We're all entitled to our views. I just happened to like it...there were a lot of truths to it!

We were found in the pursuit of greed by Europe...trade route to Asia. Greed led us to seize a country that was not ours at all, uncaring as the native people died around us. Greed and arrogance, we made this place our own and have now trashed what was once a peaceful home.

This country was tainted at it's birth...the land sought after for two of the seven deadly sins, and it's real founding fathers suffered for it.

But that's just my opinion, pessimistic as it may be, and everyone's entitled to theirs.

Kawg, Thanks for those videos. I liked them, and think they are very appropriate for us to reflect on this week. I am proud of the religious heritage we have in this country. Our ancestors gave their lives so that we could be free to worship and to voice our opinions without the fear of prison or death. Sometimes it is so hard to remember that when people put down our nation, and our founding fathers.

I agree, I thought it was a wonderful song and video for this holiday! I went to a new church yesterday and they played it for us. I LOVED the music/worship service they had! Nothing like my regular church. This one was WAY more upbeat and lifting!
