I don't see a conflict between the two.

While reading the last few posts I thought "Crap! Not again!" Seems that practically all religious and atheist forums turn sour. Whew! Glad it recovered!

I'm so sorry to hear that! You might try checking out Jacob Liberman's book, "Take off your glasses and see." To be honest, I haven't had such great results from it yet -- but my vision is 20/600 (very, very bad! ). However, he has had incredible results with many of his patients. He's an eye doctor with a few different degrees in ophtalmology -- and decided it was nonsense that his entire profession takes for granted that the eye (alone) can't heal. He said that the entire medical field regards the body as self-healing, and capable of improvement whatever the disease state, so why ought the eye be the exception? Some of his patients have improved their vision to better than 20/20!

Peace,
Light1111

that seems very rude to me... I AM Buddhist, but I think these fights are ridiclous. Sometimes, I DO feel like Christans ack better than everyone (pretty much everyone at my school), and it really hurts.
I always tell people we should just get alongand then somebody yells SHUT UP BUDDHIST at me.

I like to think that we should all cooperate, but that won't happen because some people just like to follow their religions more closely than others, and that's okay!

but honestly, I assume none of you are NEARLY as young as me, and I wouldn't expect this behavior from others! Buddhists, this conversation will just build you more bad karma. Christans, God KNOWS what you do, and i twould probably hurt him to see you being so ugly to other human beings. So let's put aside our differences so we can stop the petty arguement!
