You've been on my ignore list. Until you can refrain from acceptable rude and inflamatory personal posts which some UR'ers are afforded to post, I'm not going to see what you write unless quoted by someone else.

FYI: Your thanksgiving OP was a total mockery on so many levels...

If they are true, the above combination of facts prove that the kolasis aionion of Matthew 25:41&46 is a limited period of time.
Do you know of any Greek scholar who will disagree with the above facts?

" Do you know of any Greek scholar who will disagree with the above facts..?"

Yes.

And I know Greek scholars who will say that there are no atheists in heaven or in fox holes.

Organized religion does the will of it's own system and many times has persecuted (heavily) those who do not agree with it. It has been anything but Christlike and it has been made anything but whole.

Post Prove that even one greek scholar disagrees

Over and over again on forums I have seen ETers and ANers plead that their feelings have been hurt when thay can't answer certain questions.
IMO it's a cop-out.

A "Challenge" to those who believe in "forever/eternity"

Now here’s the Challenge to you and here are the verses again…
……………………..ENGLISH…………………………..Greek Form
Mat 21:19……….“forever”……………………………“singular”
Mat 6:13………….“forever”…………………………..“PLURAL”
Heb 1:8……………“forever and ever”…………….“singular/singular”
Gal 1:5…………….“forever and ever”…………….“PLURAL/PLURAL”
Dan 7:18 LXX …“forever and ever”……………..“singular/PLURAL” in LXX
Eph 3:21………….“world without end”……………“singular/PLURAL”

What I need from you, is for you to try to find me ONE (or a few if you wish) scholar/translator that will tell you that the “Greek Form” Column that I have listed is INCORRECT.

Two things still to remember though….

I don’t care what he THINKS the Greek word “aion” means in these verses. He can think it means “forever” or even “tree” for all I care.

I don’t care WHAT he would Translate it either. “tree, cat, forever, eternity, etc.” I really don’t care.

All I care about is what Greek FORM (that is FORM) they are in, whether they are in the SINGULAR or PLURAL form, and if they are DIFFERENT from what I have listed.

That’s it!! You can post your proof from one of his writings, you can ASK him, you can Call him, I could call him for you, or maybe YOU are a scholar, I don’t care how you get me the information.

Remember, you WIN the challenge by showing me one that DIS-AGREES with my list.

My prediction is, that any self respecting Greek Translator/Scholar is NOT going to LIE to you. He will tell you what form these are in. Heck, give him my list so you can save him some time. He is going to tell you that the Greek Form Column is CORRECT for the said scriptures. But, my challenge still stands though.
twin.spin, the above post is about the subject of this thread.

It was directed to Finn, but since he is not responding, would you like to take a crack at it?

If they are true, the above combination of facts prove that the kolasis aionion of Matthew 25:41&46 is a limited period of time.

Please name one Greek scholar (and back it up with proof) who will disagree with the above "Greek form" column?

ah excuse me..... I did not say (spiritual)
  • Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the (spiritual) darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

I quoted Matthew 25:29-30 (NIV [1984 edition] )

Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The YLT has doesn't misquote Jesus
  • and from him who is not having, even that which he hath shall be taken from him; and the unprofitable servant cast ye forth to the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.
(Even the Mormons teach that "outer darkness" is a actual place aka hell)

Jude 1:6
And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.

speaking of godless men, Jude prophecies:

Jude 1:13
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever (NIV)

Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (KJV)
