For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority.
Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings; 11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from the Lord. 12 But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.

Quit being a hypocrite Finn. You are constantly on about other people bickering yet it is you who are bickering and not acknowledging what is said instead of actually trying to have a discussion.
I showed you plainly what the bible says.
God will have all men to come to a knowledge of the truth.
When God's judgments are in the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.
Everyone will swear allegiance to God and joyfully worship Him.
All are made righteous through Christ.
Ultimately God will be all in all.
Do you need me to post the verses for these again?
Apparently you are simply unable to even acknowledge these scriptural facts as you have repeatedly ignored them in the last 3 posts I have made.
You are just sticking your head in the sand. I guess that is what it takes to maintain the contradiction that is eternal torment. I guess it is not your appointed time to understand the truth yet. But eventually you will, because God will have all men to come to a full knowledge of the truth.

Perfectly describes those who uphold and promote the doctrine of eternal torment.

I sense the growing frustration with trying to have a discussion with those who do not have the vaguest intention of thinking about what they have been programmed to spout in faith (i.e., superstitious fear of dealing with Satan's demons) or suffer the fate they have been indoctrinated to believe in. There will be no discussions, legoman . . . just rigid, unthinking, rote professions of faith against what they offhandedly believe to be Satanic doctrine. Keep pointing out their primitive ignorance legoman . . . but it is primarily for the lurkers . . . not the blind minds under the veil of ignorance from reading the OT.

Sparrow, I know there are many verses in the OT where God is talking directly to man through the writer of the book, Isaiah for example. And He says in numerous places things to the effect of, "And then will I put MY Word and My thoughts into the minds of all men and they will learn righteousness will come to Me and then will they be saved and will honor Me."
And then the NT comes along and in it we read, "Depart from Me ye CURSED into everlasting flames prepared for the devil."
Is it any wonder so many people are confused unto death ( you like that little touch of ol' King James!!)

It's not so confusing when you realize that "everlasting", "eternal" and "hell" have all been mistranslated.

I said bye-bye right away when you wanted to end the discussion.
If you say good-bye, and I say good-bye, then why do you come back to accuse me of 'bickering'.
Your verses have been explained to you countless times, so don't try to offer those as examples after-life teaching classes.

Actually it was lego who quoted the OT, but he forgot to quote the rest of it. This has been explaned to him countless times, but he always comes back to copy/paste the parsed version.
It continues:
But when grace is shown to the wicked,
they do not learn righteousness;
even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil
and do not regard the majesty of the LORD.
11 LORD, your hand is lifted high,
but they do not see it.
Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame;
let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.

I know I used to believe in eternal torment, and that former self that used to believe in eternal torment has been destroyed. It will happen to you as well, eventually.
How long have you been a believer Finn? From other people I have talked to its taken on average of about 20-30 years to destroy that horrible belief of eternal torment. So if you have only believed for a few years, you've probably got a ways to go.
