Of course I do -Jesus does! He wrote me in His Book of Life before the foundation of the world and marked my times and seasons, the date of my birth and the day of my death [or translation at the rapture, whichever it turns out to be first].
He marks/notes my days and numbered/counted them in that Book where He also wrote all my members of my fleshly body -which He died to redeem back in regeneration for Himself, to adopt me into His New Man family- in His book. He even wrote the number of hairs on my head in His book, before the world was.
In heaven, they marked the day of my conception, as the Word enlightens us, in Job, and the years are counted for me there, on "my day". Job's sons feasted on their "day" respectively, in their houses, to celebrate their birthdays.

We celebrate life, on our birthday anniversaries, and we celebrate Jesus as the Reason for our Life, at this time of the year.

I can think of no POSITIVE way you could bring God into your consciousness that would ever be wrong! Please explain.

Do you celebreate your own birthday or another person's birthday?
If it is not positive FOR YOU, trettep . . . then you should not celebrate it. But your mind and intentions are not the standard for anyone else. Of course, I celebrate my birthday with my friends and family and vice versa. It is an acknowledgment that the world is a better place because we/they were born into it. How is that NOT positive?

I could reason things like vigilante killing, orgies, etc... you did say ANYTHING. If I were so inclined I could reason any of those things to be 'positive'.

Key word...could ...I don't though

Oh ye of little faith . . . Jesus the LIVING Word of God abides with us in His Holy Spirit within our consciousnesses. There is no way you could sincerely reason evil to be positive with Him watching and convicting you.

I figured you did. Thanks for being honest about that.

Mar 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

That verse shows that not everything one does to worship God is acceptable to God.

Yes, I thought the same thing. God didn't leave it to man to decide what is acceptable to Him.

Ah . . . I see your confusion, trettep . . . everything is NOT worship. This passage simply means that they are wasting their time worshiping Him (in vain) because they are following false teachings. It says nothing about what ways God finds acceptable or not. God knows our hearts. He knows when we are sincerely worshiping Him in love. He is not fooled by appearances of any kind. That is a human problem . . . and as a result the busy bodies of the world have a field day judging the appropriateness of everything.

So if I make a holiday where we observe Jesus for wearing scandals would that be acceptable?
