Did the Neanderthal have a soul?

A Neanderthal loved, felt, had family, etc, but did he have soul?
Why is it, that man, or specifically, Adam, was given this?

Primates love, have families, care for their young.
Why don't they have soul?
Primates think, feel, decide...yet don't have a soul?

Why was Adam, given this, apart from his predecessors?

What is love? Is it a physiological reaction inherent in all upper class mammals? Or is this something that only man can feel?

Is it something that only God can give?
Can you tie human feelings to something spiritual?
Or is it that what is spiritual in us, influences our feelings?

Jeremiah said the heart was deceitful, but yet the disciples of/and Christ told us to search our hearts? Why?

Because those who have Christ in them, have a spirit, which influences our hearts and feelings, and in that we must search the heart for the spirit, not search the spirit through our hearts.

Please discuss....

Nice topic, Sciotamicks!
I personally believe that the Seed of Christ has been planted in man's heart since the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It doesn't bloom in everyone's heart at the same rate, but it does seem to me the most important aspect of a man. If we focus on this, the feelings/soul find peace and are set free from hell.

Blessings,
brian

I believe that the neanderthal had a soul. However, with Adam and Eve came the potential to become like our Father instead of remaining in just the image. They gave up that potential. Jesus was the first human to become the likeness. He reconnected us to that which was lost with A&E. We can now all become the image instead of just the likeness of our Father.

Since Jesus, it is in our hearts that we must seek to find God. To acquire the very essence to reconnect our own selves just like Jesus did. Those who "Love God and each other" without condition and acquire Divinity into their souls will see the Kingdom of God.

....What IS a soul? Just an imprintable blueprint on which we leave all essences of ourselves so that there's a way that we still exist after our physical body dies?

There is no such thing as a Neanderthal. What science calls a Neanderthal is actually the bones and brains of the giants of the bible that once walked the Earth. At least that's what I think. Then again, they could just be animal bones of some prehistoric creature.

God is spirit and created The neanderthal man was an animal and had a spirit but did not have a soul,..... most animals have spirit but no souls and only the animals that believer pray for by the Bood of Jesus before they pass in a intimate affection of, will be collected specially when they pass away , all other animals spirits has a purpose for the Lord Jesus...... The human being was created in the image of the Lord God because he created them with the ability to interact with the Lord ..... It is the evil spirit that blinds humans and move them away from knowing Jesus ....... in Genesis Cain took a wife from the animals of the world which could have being a soulless human animal , but that can be a literial idea ?
