Many don't realize that there are three resurrected groups:

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

1.) Christ is first.
2.) Then the firstfruits
3.) then the rest at Christ's coming.

So we know Christ is resurrected. What about them firstfruits? Who are they and WHEN is their resurrection?

By the way the Old Testament shows the firstfruits were always bought to the House of the Lord God.

Here is Paul saying they have the Firstfruits of the Spirit:

Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Here is James talking to the believers in the scattered 12 tribes of Israel as firstfruits:

Jas 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Now if all these are to be saved now then who will that leave at His coming?

Firstfruits(OT Saints and Saved Jews)-#2
Those who are grafted in- #3

And Christ has been coming back daily since He has left.

As I showed, Paul said to Romans that they were received firstfruits of the Spirit.

Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

That clearly shows that he is designating them also as the firstfruits.

The first fruits are the ones who will be resurrected at the rapture. The dead in Christ will rise up then, we who remain, will be changed in the twinkling of an eye and caught up together to meet the Lord in the air..
Those who repent and die in Christ during the tribulation will be resurrected at the second coming...

No, he is describing the first fruits OF the Spirit, not the resurrection.

The first peoples who received the gift of the Holy Spirit were the first fruits.

Matt 27:52
The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many.-First Fruits of the Resurrection

No rapture, sorry. It isn't found in Scripture.

But that is what the firstfruits is referring to. IT is of those that have the Spirit.

Christ Himself is the firstfruits as it says in v. 53 above. He alone was the first to rise from the dead; never to die again. Or as Paul stated in Rom.6:9 "Death no longer has dominion over Him."

Paul was using a metaphor of the firstfruits of Lev. 23:9-14. In the OT it indicates that “the first sheaf" of the coming grain harvest will be followed by the rest of the sheaves.[those who are His at His second coming]

Roms. 8
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by *hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
*what is the believers 'hope?'
Tit 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Tit 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

You're all misunderstanding this quotation.
Not your fault, as the grammar in some translations is misleading to
the modern reader.
The passage is meant to be understood only as Christ BEING the firstfruits,
the "bikkurim" first ripe fruits of harvest which were offered at the ancient
Hebrew Temple.

But every one in his own order: the firstfruits (=) Christ, then they that are of Christ, who have believed in his coming.

"He as first-fruits has risen, bringing promise of the full harvest- our resurrection."
