Praising God and enjoying the accommodations of my mansion. (joke)
Moderator cut: edited You need more than "a feeling" as a sign that the end of times are upon us.

Many felt that LAST year was going to be a big year (some unbelievers too):
Here's what I HATE about end time fear mongering...

I think it's more important to live in the here and now and stop dwelling on these things. Although I do believe in a Rapture (at this point in time) I do not feel the "feelings" that you say you are experiencing. I have a feeling that the Rapture won't be happening for a very long time. Don't get caught up in this and live all of next year in anticipation of an event that probably won't happen. All you do is get further dejected when 2012 rolls around and it's not good for anyone spiritually.

The only ones who could have prevented WWI were the people involved in it in the first place... same thing with every war that's ever been instigated.

But Jesus did write about it here:

What Men Can Do to Eradicate War and Evil from Men's Souls (http://tinyurl.com/28myugx - broken link)

Hey Allen,

Back on October 10 of last year, you promised never to return to the religion forum, according to your post. Too many people were poking fun at you, and everybody was cruel. So, I pose this question to you. If you cannot even honor your own promises, how can you possibly expect others to listen to your apocalyptic prophecies?

Done.

You remind me of that crazy fundamental lady in the movie The Mist, except you're much younger and male. I hope you don't share the same fate as she did. That would break my heart.

Up there in the bold: I couldn't have said it better, SoCalAngel.

Maybe you are right, but Jesus didn't even try. If he had given a speech and told a parable or two, at least some people might have listened to him.
