Would I as a Christian;
Stand outside a bar, and yell DRUNKS?
Go to a mental institution and yell CRAZIES?
Go to an abortion clinic and yell MURDERER?
That would, in my opinion, be the essence of evil.
EVERYONE deserves our Love.

Why the discussion as to whether McVeigh was a Christian or not. He killed a bunch of innocent people. Obviously he wasn't a Christian. Calling yourself Christian doesn't make one a Christian. Calling myself the President of the United States doesn't make me the President of the United States. Do we really need to have this type of discussion? Isn't this obvious?

How come you and Ashville Native make an attempt to associate this group with Christian believers?

I can only answer for myself. I "associate this group" with Christianity because it it the Westboro BAPTIST church, and as such, they are dragging the name of God and Christ through the mud on a regular basis which I find appalling. I don't like to see people acting shamefully in the NAME of GOD. It bothers me.

Well, Heartsong, I wanted to stay out of this thread only because I seem to lose my center when I think about this group, but I'm glad to report the AZ legislature is finally dealing with this "church".
Here's some good news:
