Sometimes we can help one another through constructive criticism. I don't necessarily like to be the one doing it - but it can be helpful. It IS a joyful song if the one being sung to will consider learning something new.
If you are a Believer of God's word, this is all that is needed! YES, that He is coming again....just like He said He would! And, whether you believe it, or not, doesn't make it any less true. Fact!! All of His predictions concerning His first coming came true, why shouldn't you believe in His second coming? Matthew 24:35: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away . . ."
So friends, today I ask you in the most humblest, sincere way I can come to you: "Should Jesus come today, tonight, is it well with your soul"? It's your responsibility to know your fate!!

I didn't day Betsy doesn't know God's love - or even that she doesn't have a beautiful song. I'm speaking a very straight forward concept, and that is: Altruistic/Godly behavior is not motivated by a desire to save one's own skin. These kinds of threads advocate a "turn or burn" message which is contrary to the knowledge of God. Whether or not someone thinks my comments are in error is up to them, no problem - thanks for your input on the subject.

Yet - I know you view the post as a fact, not a threat but if you look at it objectively that's exactly what it really is, a threat of bad consequences for non-compliance - the lowest form of external motivation.
