In the Greek Gospel means GOOD NEWS or Well Message possibly, Good Message, don't have my references near me.

So in scripture I would read that as The Good News of Jesus Christ.

From a human perspective I believe we can all see what good news actually is differently.

For me the good news is that while we can go down dark paths in life there is an eternal hope that exists for everyone and the Good News is that no one is ever left or forsaken.

I appreciate that those who believe otherwise can warn me that perhaps my path is dangerous for not only myself or others, but then again, I have the freedom and willingness to walk through valleys of shadows of death knowing he is with me always.

Not believing or not knowing he is with us always doesn't change the fact that he is.

The gospel is the “kingdom of ‘god’”. “The gospel [i.e. good news] of the kingdom of god” was preached to Abraham in the form of god’s promises concerning "eonian" life on earth (Gal 3:8).

According to my understanding
on this topic, the "kingdom of god" will be established (on earth) after Jesus’ return when such promises are fulfilled.

I like it! I haven't seen Gary in a while, but he's always a breath of fresh air!

I was just thinking last night about how Jesus was "alone" against religion. Similar to the guy who wrote the letter in this video, who is rejected and doesn't have a "group" to be part of.
But that is part of our growth, to find His Love and Grace sufficient for us, even when those around us forsake us.
It can be done!

Blessings,
brian

The Gospel is the fullfillment of the promise of God thru Jesus Christ...ie...The Power of God for the Salvation of Mankind thru the atoning sacrifice of calvary and ressurection of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin.....It is the free gift of God given out of love for all who will humbly "repent", "accept" and "believe". We can choose to accept the Gospel or reject Christ....But our decision will have eternal consequences.

Technically, "the gospel" is the good news of Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice that we might have eternal life in God's presence. I believe it's actually more than that, though, that it encompasses God's whole plan of salvation for His children.

Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace ! Acts 20:24

Doctrines of the Gospel that have been neglected, such as Election of Grace, the quickening of the Spirit or Regeneration, these things have been relegated to a sub group and apart from the Gospel of God's Grace.

As the Gospel is the good news of Salvation, and Salvation is only by the Grace of God. So what doctrines in the bible enumerate what God has purposed and accomplished to save His People by Grace ?

For God had promised to save His People from their sins Matt 1:21, and the Gospel of God's Grace explains How He accomplished this..
