There will be an order in the resurrection. Christ himself, the first-fruits; at his coming, his redeemed people will be raised before others; and last the wicked will rise also.

Those who believe that ALL! (including Hitler...Dahmer...Satan and his angels...baby rapists...mass-murderers...all! whether or not they ever repented of their sins before they died) will see their salvaton...love to quote the following verse...(22)...

1 Corinthians 15:

20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

...but they conveniently stop quoting before they get to verse 23...

23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

"...But every man in his own order..." - The apostle mentions three orders here:

1. Christ, who rose from the dead by his own power.

2. Them that are Christ's; all his apostles, martyrs, confessors, and faithful followers.

3. Then cometh the end, when the whole mass shall be raised..."The Whole Mass" - this includes everyone else thereafter, who isn't in Christ..."The Whole Mass" includes those who are NOT in Christ who are raised up after those who were raised up, who are in Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

We who are in Christ will triumph in this season...we must now, before we die, submit to His rule, accept His salvation, and live to His glory. Then shall we rejoice in the completion of His undertaking, that God may receive the whole glory of our salvation, that we may forever serve Him, and enjoy His favour. Amen.

In Christ's love...and prayerfully in His truth,
Verna.

Yes ........

If your read on you see that those that are raised in the end are subjected to Christ and Christ is subject to God, so that, God can be all in all.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1Co 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
1Co 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Only those who die IN Christ will see their salvation.

Verna,

That is what you think but is not said in these verses ..... if you follow what the words say ..... the end is the subduing of all enemies to Christ (under his feet) and he is in turn subject to God, so that God is all in all.

Bless you too Verna,, but in the context of your OP can you tell me why all of the extra words were put in there about subjection of the enemies to Christ if they are not in fact subjected to him

The word used is this one

G5293
ὑποτάσσω
hupotassō
hoop-ot-as'-so
From G5259 and G5021; to subordinate; reflexively to obey: - be under obedience (obedient), put under, subdue unto, (be, make) subject (to, unto), be (put) in subjection (to, under), submit self unto.

...after what Christ did for us...?...when God the Father was sad that he even created us...still giving His one and only Son to die for US...?...can you imagine ANYONE...? when they do see Him...Christ the KING!...not bowing down in subjection to Him...? Not one knee...not one head will not bow in awe of Him...but that doesn't mean they will see their salvation...not if they lived their lives in willfull sin and wickedness...nope...not according to God's precious HOLY! Word!......nope!

Actually that statement is not absolute because an infant born into sin, whether capable of understanding Christ, did not die "in" Christ.

I do believe that God has made provision for salvation after death and it is conditional on circumstances.

The Hitler card as I like to call it is based mostly on emotion rather than scriptural fact, If and only if it is a scriptural fact that a great person who has done good deeds all their life can either "go to hell" or "be no more" then Hitlers actions upon earth have no bearing upon his damnation or anihillation. It is completely irrelevant.

Hitler will have to give an account of his life, just as the "Good" person will and whether one can be seen as worse than the other in this context is moot.

The fact is, choice, no choice, following commandments or not, Salvation is not of the person in any capacity. Making a choice from this context is based upon the human ability to do so, which contradicts the scriptural premise that it is not of us.

The path in which you become a vessel of honor or dishonor and what you will reap based on what you sow certainly will carry weight as far as what you will have to learn and what you will have to go through to become righteous.

But all become righteous because God promises so.

The fact is, your thread title is true, each in their own order, there is an order of things. And the wicked will be last, because it takes a lot more for them to learn.

Maybe it is has to be with what resurrection is

from Coirinthians
1Co 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
1Co 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
1Co 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
1Co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
