I would think someone praying for evil upon another would bring evil unto themselves.

No, Sheena, no one you can fully trust has an answer for the above. You have to figure it out for yourself.

When you believe in the supernatural, you open up a whole bunch of possibilities. You can believe in the existence of a benevolent god that has your best interest in mind and you can also believe there are forces that mean you harm.

Hopefully, you will believe that your benevolent god has enough power to protect you from the evil forces. Otherwise, you will always be looking over your shoulder to see if some evil force is coming to get you, and that would be a tough way to live.

How true.

What it comes down to (for your peace of mind, as well as blessing) is either you choose to trust God, or you choose not to. God promises to take care of those who are His. He does not promise to listen to or answer wicked prayers of the wicked or unrighteous. You give the dark side power to frighten, worry, and deceive you into thinking it is more powerful than God.

Learn about God, get to know Him, and take Him at His word.
