2,000 years ago we did Not have the bad global conditions that we see in the world scene today. [Matthew chapter 24 ]
The time setting for the Book of Revelation [ 1 v 10 ] is set for our day, or our time frame.
We are nearing the ' time of separation ' of Matthew 25 vs 31,32
Remember Jesus gave the illustration of how the genuine ' wheat ' Christians would grow together over the centuries with the fake ' weed/tares ' Christians until the end ' harvest time ' or the ' time of separation '.

Also. please notice Luke 19 vs 11-15 because in verse 11 Jesus stresses that the kingdom [ kingdom of a thousand years ] would Not appear immediately or instantly in that time period. First, Jesus as the nobleman, would first go away to a far country [ heaven ] before he would later return in his kingdom glory.- Matthew 25 vs 31,32.

1st Thess. 5 vs 2,3 kind of gives us a ' final signal ', so to speak, when ' they ' [political powers that be ] are saying Peace and Safety or Peace and Security then sudden destruction is to come. The words from Jesus mouth will rid the earth of the wicked - Isaiah 11 vs 3,4; Rev. 19 vs 11,15 - before Jesus ushers in global Peace on Earth among men of goodwill.

If we had No idea at all there would be No reason to keep on the watch, or keep spiritually awake - Mark 13 vs 32-36

...and according to the unchanged Bible since Pentecost the ' Israel of God ' is now a spiritual nation - 1st Peter 2 vs 9,5
Jerusalem above is now mother - Galatians 4 v 26; 6 v 16 - That ' seat of government ' is Not on earth but in heaven above.
Fleshly Israel today, by the grace of God, exists as a national nation or national group - Romans 10 v 4
As Jesus said that Jewish house [ of worship ] would be abandoned - Matthew 23 v 38

Remember too the setting for Revelation was Not first century [ Rev. 1 v 10 ] but future for our day or time period.
Revelation was Not even completed until the end of the first century so it had to be fulfilled at a future time.
Matthew 24 and Luke 21 have both a minor and a MAJOR fulfillment. The MAJOR is for our day.
So, following that Revelation's setting the ' generation ' Jesus foretold would be set in our time frame.

Rapture or Resurrection. The setting of 1st Thess. 4 vs 13-17 is about resurrection from sleeping in death.
The dead, the dead in Christ rise first. They have a first or earlier resurrection - Rev. 20 v 6; 5 vs 9,10; 1st Cor. 15 v 52
They are the resurrected as ' firstfruits ' of 1st Cor. 15 vs 20,23, 50 because 'flesh' [ physical] can Not inherit the kingdom.
When Jesus was ' caught up in the clouds' it when the ' resurrected Jesus ' ascended to heaven - Acts 1 v 9
So, since flesh 'physical' can Not inherit the kingdom the ' caught up in the clouds ' would mean resurrected Not raptured.

It is the humble 'sheep' of Matthew 25 vs 31,32 who are alive on Earth at the coming ' time of separation ', and they can remain alive on Earth, and continue living on Earth right through the coming great tribulation [ Rev. 7 v 14; Isaiah 26 v 20 ] on Earth, and keep right on living on Earth right into the start of Jesus' 1000-year kingdom reign over Earth.

Look up the blood moon phenomenon and how it correlates with end times prophecy and Israel. There is supposed to be a blood moon this year.

Joel 2 v 31 originally was upon Judah when Judah was desolated by ancient Babylon.
- Joel 2 vs 1,2,10,30,31; 3 vs 12- 16 Jeremiah 4 vs 23,28
Ezekiel and Isaiah also foretold God's judgment on Egypt and Babylon. - Ez. 32 vs7,8,12; Isaiah 31 vs 1,10,11.
Peter quoted Joel on Pentecost to get saved from that crooked generation. - Acts 2 vs 1, 16-21,40
Those who did Not heed that prophecy saw the Roman armies besiege Jerusalem in the year 70.
Jesus too showed Joel's prophecy would have a future fulfillment.
- Matthew 24 vs 29,31,45; Luke 21 vs 25-27,33; Rev. 6 vs 12-17

So, the symbolic ' blood moon ' represents bad conditions, a bad mental outlook, doom-and-gloom foreboding conditions.
Foreboding for those who turn against God. - Isaiah 50 vs 2,3,10

That's what people said in the 1960s when the world was ripe with war, assassinations, communism, drugs, sexual revolution, and other moral decay, but it didn't happen. People think things are bad now, but this is nothing compared to the 1940s and 1960s.

I want to live a normal life, especially one not in the end times. Because everyone will suffer under an Anti Christ before Jesus comes. I don't want to suffer. And there are many youtube videos showing how satanic our current times are, + also some that show signs of the end times.

Just because men's calculations were Not right does Not mean Jesus' words are Not right.
I am sure the people of WWI and WWII also thought things were bad.
We do Not have to look for collapse because the ' final signal ', so to speak, is Not collapse but a saying of false ' Peace ' before the end of all badness on earth comes.- 1st Thess. 5 vs 2,3
Collapse comes from the symbolic ' kingdom stone ' growing to be the size of a great mountain or mountain-like stone.
- See Daniel 2 vs 34,35,45 and Daniel 2 v 44
When that kingdom stone will hits the feet of that political statue in the feet that is what will cause political collapse.
We are living at the ' time of the toes ' - verses 41,42 - or, perhaps I should say we are living at the ' time of the toenails ' !

None of us want to suffer. Perhaps you can find comfort in Isaiah words at Isaiah 26 v 20 ?_______
Please also notice in Scripture there is NO Upper-Case letter 'A' for antichrist.- 1st John 2 vs 18,22; 4 v 3; 2nd John v 7
So, No one person is antichrist but anyone who will end up against Christ is antichrist.
The clergy ' man of the cloth ' often sits himself in the ' houses of worship ' as if he is God when as in Jesus day the religious leaders were really anti-God.- 2nd Thess. 2 vs 2-8

Please also notice that a great crowd, or great multitude of people, will come through the coming great tribulation alive. Alive on earth right into the start of Jesus' 1000-year reign over earth - Rev. 7 vs 14,9,10
