I have a parallel bible and have was reading Matthew 6-27...It says not to worry because it doesnt add to your life, that is the NIV version...In the KJV it mentions adding a cubicle to your stature...Is that the same thing? That sounds more like making you taller or bigger?

There's an interesting footnote in the NAB on this verse. The greek word can mean life-span or stature?

USCCB - NAB - Matthew 6

For Matt 6:27, the English Standard Version, which my study Bible is based off of (The Lutheran Study Bible, Concordia Publishing House) reads as follows:

Quote:
And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
According to the study notes for that verse on pg. 1591, the Greek word for "span" means cubit. It suggests adding a short extension to ones life.

The New King James version uses cubit as well.
