Satan didn't destroy Sodom, God did. Satan didn't create the flood, God did. Satan does not have the power to kill people. One day God will authorize him to kill people, but that day is not here yet.

You die, and then you are judged. Crystal clear. No second chances there.

Hebrews 9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment

I disagree. Satan comes not, but for "to steal, to kill and to destroy."
Satan's job is to destroy; God's job is to heal.
imo..

Blessings,
brian

You disagree, because the Word contradicts your theory.

Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the LORD out of the heavens...................... So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.

God does not destroy; He permits satan some slack to work, but only as far as His Hand allows. God controls satan, not vice versa. See Job ch.s 1-2.

Thank you.

Blessings Finn,
brian

FJ consider this verse the law came through moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Now answer me this question did Moses give us the truth or did Jesus Christ ?

This is why i have told you, to understand God and the scriptures you have to do so through who came the truth........Jesus Christ. If you do not, your understanding of the scriptures is veiled.

That is what Brian says, it is not what the word of God says. Why do you think I quoted the Bible specifically saying it was God who did it? And the Bible also says He will do it again in the future.

Thank you

Finn, I didn't write the book of Job!

So is satan "out of control?" Is heaven a place of chaos?

The LORD gave satan room to destroy Job but did not permit him to kill Job.

-Have you read those chapters yet?

Yes, God "says He will destroy..." But He doesn't tell you how! God destroyed Sodom the same way He destroyed Job. Sodom will be restored.

..Blessings,
brian

Did someone argue something about Job???

No, you brought it up in order to distract and drail the topic, and now you pretend someone argued it. No, no one except you said anything about Job. Can you open a new thread about Job?

I didn't write the Bible either, yet it clearly says what God did.
