Thought this would be interesting as some people don't seem to acknowledge that words in our English
translations have changed over time because meanings have changed and/or were not entirely accurate. That is why they are
translations. They are not the original scripture, just a
translation of the original scripture, and as such, there may be errors or mistranslations in them. Different versions of the bible can even have completely different meanings for the same passage of scripture.
This is why it is important to look at different versions, compare word usage, and try to understand the original meaning of the word if possible.
However 99% of the time most translations are perfectly fine... but that 1% will get you
